I picked up a variety of the medium taper magnums (which I can’t really find anywhere else in cartridge form - only bar needles) and they’re working so much better for saturation than the long tapers most brands offer. I also picked up a variety of liners, and I’ve noticed an immediate improvement in my line work. I was starting to question my skills when I switched from bar needles to cartridges, but after trying Emalla, I’ve felt so much more confident and happy with my work!
I love the efficiency of these groupings, as well as the smooth stippled textures you get from them!! Great buy!! Will use all the time now l!! But would also love a larger grouping size of the same 3rl combo stipple mags. Like 3rlx5 would be nice or even 3rlx7
I’m totally impressed by the Emalla cartrigdes. They are very sharp and I switched completely to Emalla with all needle sizes. Also it’s very helpful to have a huge selection of different needle sizes and types.
I had received a sample pack at a convention last year, and a year later my original needle company was bought out & the quality went downhill. I remembered these having a surgical-like precision and great flow from the samples, so I went all in and restocked. Couldn't be happier, keep up the quality craftsmanship! We artists appreciate ya'll.
I've tried many fineline needles and emalla has been the best quaility for quite some time now! I use mostly 0603RL and 0803RL. The ink holds for long periods of time, making my work crisp and clean every time. Highly highly recommend for all types of liners and shaders!!

These needles are my everyday go to, precise, never shaky, the right amount of ink going through, long enough (I like to work with my needle out a lot, and not all brands allow this). Just incredibly stable and comfy to use. I mostly use 3RL (08, 10 and 12) but love a good 5 medium for sharp thicker lines.
